Smith's asked Porter Novelli to develop and implement an integrated PR campaign to maximise awareness of the Smith's 'Do Us A Flavour' promotion, which asked Australians to come up with the next great flavour of Smith's chips.

 

Our activity included:

- Campaign ambassador recommendation and management (celebrity chef Matt Moran)

- A major national media relations campaign, incorporating social media engagement

- Experiential activity at the Good Food & Wine Show

- Media training and issues planning

 

Results for launch phase included:

- 85 pieces of coverage - including 21 radio and 3 television pieces (2x A Current Affair, 1x TODAY show)

- 20 interviews secured for Matt Moran and Smith's spokesperson

- 28.9 million audience impressons

- $1.69m worth of equivalent editorial value
