Water Proofing Adelaide

An initiative of the South Australian Government, Water Proofing Adelaide (WPA) was tasked with developing a strategy that secures adequate supplies of quality water for the city of Adelaide to the year 2025. Porter Novelli Adelaide became an integral part of the project team, which drew people from across several departments to tackle this high profile issue. Our role involved helping to:

• create and implement a community consultation program, including event managing and promoting a series of public forums, and developing support materials;
  
• train and mentor team members in presentation and media interview techniques, and the art of conveying complex technical issues;
  
• liaise with stakeholders to set up a series of more than 40 briefing sessions;
  
• provide ongoing strategic advice and issues management; and
  
• editing and designing the final document.
